The European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Cretu, today visited Bedestan in Nicosia.
”In Bedestan. Frankly, this location and its history impress me a lot. Over the centuries it faced partial destruction, but all consolidation works have enriched it and added further touches to its uniqueness. To me this serves as a strong reminder what Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots can achieve on this island for their future.”, declared the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Cretu.
