The Ambassador of Finland, Pauli Mäkelä, visited the Region of Crete

The promotion of tourism and Cretan products in the Finnish market dominated the meeting o between the Antiperifereiarchis of Heraklion, Euripides Koukiadakis, with the Finnish Ambassador, Pauli Mäkelä, who today visited the Region of Crete. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Honorary Consul of Finland in Eastern Crete, Andreas Metaxas, briefed by Antiperifereiarchis of Heraklion on the economy of Crete, the work of educational-scientific institutions and the current situation with the immigrants-refugees .
As agreed in the near future, Mr. Koukiadakis will visit the Embassy of Finland and he will meet again with the Ambassador in order to increase the tourist flow from Finland to Heraklion.
