The Ambassador of the Netherlands in Greece, Caspar Veldkamp, visited the island of Chios yesterday together with a delegation from the Netherlands ministries of Defense and Security & Justice. They were briefed by Greek authorities, UNHCR and NGOs as well as Dutch Military Police which is helping out on and around the island.
