Festival “Break the Chain”: A Ministry’s of Foreign Affairs event against Human Trafficking

On the occasion of the European Day Against Human Trafficking held on 24 and 25 October 2015 the Festival “Break the Chain” at Technopolis Municipality of Athens.

It is the first time that this two-day multidisciplinary festival is organised. Main goal of this festival is to inform and raise public awareness on issues related to trafficking and exploitation of people by people.

The Festival is part of the initiative “Break the Chain” Office of the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), in collaboration with the City of Athens Technopolis and cultural platform elculture.

Scheduled events are governed by the idea of ​​enlisting Culture and Art social awakening and action (trans-media concept). Specifically, the festival includes informative, scientific and cultural events with the participation of all stakeholders – partners, organizations, private companies CSR. At the same time, art groups, artists, celebrities and young artists will participate in a “feast” activation against Human Exploitation.
