€7.3 million from Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein to support Greek civil society

Norway, together with Iceland and Liechtenstein, contributes €7.3 million to support Greek civil society. The program, “We are all Citizens”, implemented by the Bodossaki Foundation, aims to strengthen civil society and to enhance the contribution of NGOs to social justice, democracy and sustainable development. About 100 000 people will benefit from the program according to estimations.

To support civil society is one of the key priorities of the EEA and Norway Grants. Non-governmental organisations play a key role in mobilising citizens, promoting democratic values and tackling key concerns in society.

The NGO programs aim to strengthen the development of civil society and enhance its contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.
