Greece and Slovenia established diplomatic relations in July 1992. Greece opened its Embassy in Ljubljana in 1995.


Political Relations

Greece and Slovenia are now partners in the EU and allies in NATO, which has further broadened the scope of bilateral cooperation between them, and they are jointly pursuing the European integration of the Balkans.


Cultural Relations and Greek Community

There is a small Greek Slovenian community mainly from mixed marriages.
