U.S. expert Corey Wittig, Digital Learning Librarian from Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Squirrel Hill, spoke to conferences in Athens and Thessaloniki on how to transform Greek public libraries into community-based spaces and educational hubs.

During the program sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, Wittig stressed the need for stronger ties between public libraries and local communities through creative technology and mentor-driven programs, aiming to create learning opportunities and capacity building, especially for the young and underprivileged.

Wittig also conducted several sessions for students at UTechLab Athens.
