Greece is represented in Tanzania via parallel accreditation of its Embassy in Nairobi (Kenya).


Political Relations

Relations between the two countries are good, and bilateral and multilateral cooperation is satisfactory.


Cultural Relations and Greek Community

Some 150 Greeks, mainly significant businesspeople, live in Tanzania. St. Constantine’s International School operates in the northern city of Arusha, whereas an Honorary Consulate under Mr. William-Konstantinos Ferentinos operates in the country’s capital Dar Es Salaam, which is also the seat of the Greek community. His Eminence Dimitrios (Zaharengas) has been Metropolitan of Irinoupolis since 2005.
