The Alternate Foreign Minister for European Affairs, Nikos Xydakis, met at the Foreign Ministry with the Venezuelan Ambassador to Athens, Farid Fernández.
During the courtesy meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, Messrs. Xydakis and Fernández reaffirmed the excellent level of bilateral relations as well as the exceptional level of cooperation, which can be further expanded via mutual visits.
Additionally, Mr. Fernández conveyed a message of support from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro regarding the difficult time Greece is going through.
