French President hosts the King of Morocco

French President, François Hollande, held a reception on Tuesday at the honor of his host Morocco’s King Mohammed VI. France considers Morocco among its best allies in Africa as strong ties have been tangled between the two counties since Morocco’s independence from French colonialism in 1956.

The two Heads of State discussed the ongoing partnership and ways to maintain it in its high levels despite political agendas in both counties.

Hollande congratulated the king for the return of Morocco to the African Union and welcomed Morocco’s strong initiatives for the development of the continent.
