The Paphos sausage ‘Παφίτικο Λουκάνικο’ (Pafitiko Loukaniko) today makes it to the Commission’s register of Protected Geographical Indications (PGIs)! The sausage, made from chopped pork which has been left to mature in dry red wine produced in the Paphos area now joins a list of over 1,300 products already protected across the EU.
