On Thursday October 15th, the employees of the Embassy organised a Pancake Breakfast as part of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign 2015.
The event was a great success with close to 1,000 Euros collected. Proceeds will be equally divided between the Charitable Workplace Campaign and a local charity in support of the refugee crisis.
This was also an opportunity for the staff to bid farewell to Ambassador and Mrs. Peck whose support of philanthropy is well-known. A fitting gift was for the staff to therefore donate a cheque on their behalf to the Asylon Aniaton Chronic Care Facility.
