Ambassador, Robert Peck, his spouse Maria Pantazi-Peck and Embassy driver George Bessis visited on October 12 the Athens Food Bank/KYADA and met with President Eleni Katsoulis. The organization receives 500 visitors daily and supports 9,000 families by providing food, clothing and medicine. As winter approaches, Mrs. Katsoulis expects demand will spike.
Ambassador and Mrs. Pantazi-Peck donated a quantity of dry goods donated by friends of the couple and Embassy contacts as a tribute on the eve of their departure from Greece in the coming days.
