The Embassy of the Republic of Korea held the National Foundation Day Reception on 22 October 2015, at Divani Caravel Hotel.
More than 300 guests attended including guest-of-Honour 1st Vice Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Minister of Labour, Social Security and Social Solidarity, high ranked Government officials, Diplomatic Corps, Businessmen, and overseas Korean.
The Embassy prepared different ways to introduce the Korean culture to the guests.
1. Projection of Korean landscapes during the four seasons and Korean Traditional Food pictures at 98” Ultra HD TV and 55” OLED TV sponsored by the Korean company LG.
2. Prepared Korean Food (Bulgogi, Japchae, Kimchi, Kimbap, Mandou, Yaksik, Gyeondan, Saengseontangsu, Dakgangjun)
3. Special guest Mrs. LEE Hyon Ok a Korean soprano and pianist performed 4 songs (Arirang, Song of hometown, Thalassa Dentra kai Vouna, Climb Every Mountain)
4. Distribute promotional books regarding Korea (Facts about Korea, Welcome to Korea, Guide to Korean Culture)
