The Foreign Ministry welcomes the achievement of an agreement on restoring the ceasefire in Syria; a ceasefire that now includes Aleppo.

We hope that this agreement will help to end the bloodshed and create the right conditions for a positive outcome from the diplomatic efforts to bring peace to the country. The Syrian people are entitled to a homeland of peace, security, and social and economic development.
