The Embassy of the Netherlands in Greece organised a Marathon Preparation event on the occasion of the 33th Athens Marathon 2015.
”The first day of our Marathon Preparation event was a big success! We welcomed around 200 Dutch athletes at the Orange Grove. After opening remarks by our Αmbassador, Caspar Veldkamp, we had two talks about the history of the marathon, the route, and some tips for the runners. Then, we started the pasta buffet provided by Barilla and Heineken.
Tomorrow, the Orange Grove is open from 8:00 till 18:00 hrs for the (Dutch) runners and their friends and family to gather and have a ‘after finish’ drink. You can find us right across from the Panathenaic Stadium, which is the finish of the races.
Good luck to all the runners and remember to finish with a smile on your face!”, announced the Embassy.
