The Embassy of the Netherlands welcomed Sinterklaas in Greece!

”What an honor! Sinterklaas came to visit us again this year. Together with his Pieten he came with the big book of Sinterklaas where also all Dutch children in Greece are writen down in. Ambassador Caspar Veldkamp welcomed the Sint by singing a song together with all children. The Pieten had unfortunately lost the gifts for a little while, but with the help of all the children collecting pepernoten and the wonderful singing together with accordeon Piet…the lost gifts were returned very soon. The children made the most beautiful drawings for Sinterklaas and thanks to all crazy dancing Pieten the children’s shoes put outside were soon filled with a present as well. Congratulations to the Nederlandse Vereniging for a wonderful morning and have a safe journey on and in your white ‘horse’ around Athens Sinterklaas.
