The Students Association For International Affairs (S.A.F.I.A), in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Greece, is pleased to announce its upcoming seminar on the topic of ”Maritime Security-Difference between Europe and Asia” , which will be held on Friday, 15th of January 2016.<\/p>\n

It is our honor to have for one exclusive seminar Prof. Mr. Satoshi Morimoto, National Security & Defense Policy Specialist, Professor in Takushoku University,11th Minister of Defense MOD, as the main speaker, who will enlighten us with his knowledge on the subject.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador of Japan in Greece <\/strong>will make a short greeting in the beginning of the seminar.<\/p>\n

The main topics that will be elaborated are:
\n-The foreign policy and the security policy of Japan (Alliance between Japan and USA, Island Defense)
\n-The current security status in the East Asia since the maritime expansion of China in a parallel comparison with the security situation in the european maritime regions ( Mediterrenean, Black Sea, ”Russia, Ukraine”, NATO ) and the development of future challenges – ways to control maritime regions in the context of the international security.<\/span><\/p>\n

We highly encourage the participants to be vividly active during the Q&A session!<\/p>\n
