The Australian Consul in Greece and Embassy staff visited Lesvos on 17-18 December to meet with local authorities, NGOs and Australian volunteers on the island. They met with the Deputy Prefect and the Mayor of Lesvos as well as the Embassy’s warden and also visited the refugee reception facilities.
