On 14 December 2015 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic, Volodymyr Shkurov, took part in the festivities in honour of Saint Eleftherios after invitation of the Ecclesiastical Council.
To his greeting Ambassador, Volodymyr Shkurov, mentioned the humanitarian aid of the Greek orthodox church and traditional friendly relations between peoples of Greece and Ukraine.
