On November 10, 2015, Ambassador of Panama in Greece, Cristina Liakopoulos De Papadikis, was the guest speaker at a lecture before the International Relations students of New York College.

The lecture discussed the Panama Canal and the construction taking place aimed at upgrading and modernizing it.

During the questions and answers session that followed, students under the supervision Mr. Leonidas Gontzes, Associate Dean and Head of the International Relations Department of New York College, had the opportunity to ask the Ambassador international relations-themed questions.
