More than 500 Syrian refugees are now hosted at Olympic hockey arena. Even if it is only a transit area for many of them, these people need urgent help.
In the upcoming Oktoberfest everyone can help alleviate a bit this need. For this reason the German School of Athens will gather on Saturday, October 10 from 12.00 the following items in the foyer of the School: sleeping bags, quilts, insulated substrates, waterproof and winter jackets, shoes, backpacks, towels, sanitary products, such as shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap and hand sanitizer gel.
Please do not offer any other clothing because there is already a large stock of clothing. In addition you can take part in the fundraising money organized by students of the student parliament during Oktoberfest.
